Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

San Antonio Pregnancy Care Center is expanding our medical staff and seeking a part-time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).  

The sonographer, working under the supervision of our Medical Director, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the staff with the quality care of our patients. The Sonographer’s primary responsibility is to perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds in accordance with clinic policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. The sonographer also assists with standard clinic activities including: support programs and patient follow-up services. 

Qualifications for the sonographer include: 1) Currently registered with an OB/GYN specialty through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 2) Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and learning within the industry, including continuing education and staff training, 3) Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for reporting and documentation of ultrasound examinations and client care.
